A quick answer our sheet A1 is 841x594 our plot area is 807 x 560 generally if you allow 20mm all edges for A1 and these days 15mm for A3 It is definately printer dependant our laser A3 will do 5mm all edges

When creating a page set up in layout the printable area is smaller than the paper size by a large amount increasing the printer area margins in plotter configuration still doesn t allow the correct size this is the case for every printer used within the company from A3 to A0 please help because this problem is driving me crazy

Resize PRINTABLE AREA On the right side of my layout I am supposed to have a 0 5 inch margin However the dashed line on the right side is more than 0 5 inches from the edge of the paper Thus eliminating the ability to print as close to the 0 5 inch margin on the right This is DRIVING ME CRAZY

When I am using AutoCAD 2000 it displays the printable area for A0 A2 correctly but for A3 A4 it displays wrong printable area value From other applications I am able to print properly using these paper sizes What I should do to make AutoCAD to print in proper dimensions using that printer driver

Here goes Although an experienced Autocad user I m still pretty new at Paper Space and I haven t had to open too many earlier release pre 2K in my case dwgs but I HAVE noticed that when I do usually an R14 often in a paper space layout I ll see a plotting area box the dashed box right whose lower left hand corner is NOT at 0 0
